Inside of the taco and burritos are good, but the tortilla they use tastes raw and chewy.

The atmosphere is nice and they have great customer service!

Here's the thing, the taco boxes are what they're known for -and let me tell you $18 for street tacos is the definition of getting got. Go to a taco truck they'll be better there. Other than that, cocktails are pretty good and creative. Ambiance is everything and this place has vibes. But the taco box is just unremarkable and over priced.

Great atmosphere for drinks and small bites. It’s family style/tapas like. The tacos come in a cute little box with a drawer to take them out. Very different and unique. The meat is also delicious. But I would say the best part of this bar are the drinks. Get there before 7 for some happy hour! The waiters are very friendly and can advise you if you’re unsure what to order. Only downside was it took us forever to be seated because our full party wasn’t there yet. I would understand this policy if the place was already packed, but this was at 6pm when all the tables were still empty. Overall very happy. Highlight - the churros ice cream sandwich!

Mark and ALL the team hosted us really nicely last night. The ambiance was pumping and there was a lot of fuego! We ate an all vegetarian menu which was tasty, food was served hot and fast 👌🏼

The hottest spot in West Hollywood, unique feel for where it’s located. The place to be. Stay for the DJ. Steak was bomb, served on a hot rock to keep it deliciously warm.

Food was good.... we had the clams and mussels, pizza with fennel sausage, capers and cinnamon, and pasta with sausage and truffle sauce (tastiest dish we had). Ended our meal with apple cider donuts and maple ice cream.Service was superb... food was good but expected more. Small portions for the price specially the pasta.Would I go back? Sure... maybe with a group of people to try other items on the menu. Valet parking only.

Lots of fun. Delicious food. I was greeted warmly and say right away, without a reservation. Lively and upbeat interiors. Simple delicious dishes. I had plantain chips and guac and carne asada tacos. Both great.

Needs more lighting and the food had no flavor!!... felt like I was inside a rave party!!.. I will not be back... The service and decor was nice...

First time there and it was excellent. Our waitress was great and made really good recommendations and the service was very attentive. We sat upstairs which was nice and a bit away from the crowd but still somewhat loud. Had the hot rocks carne asada (basically fajitas) and it was excellent. We started with the sea bass ceviche and it was delicious. Churro ice cream sandwich is a must have!

Eleana, our server, was not very good. She forgot Oliver's dinner & brought it after everyone had already finished eating then forgot my 2nd cocktail & said it was ready at the bar after we asked for the check & were ready to leave. I get people can have good & bad days but pay attention to groups out for special occasions like my cousin's birthday. I will say the Cadillac margarita was tasty as well as the salsa & guacamole. The manager came to hear us out & helped the situation by discounting the bill. Thanks Josh! Situation redeemed but I won't be coming back for dinner.

This place is a Mexican theme beauty! I loved every part of it including the food and drinks I had. I've only gone for brunch but I definitely want to make another trip to see the ambiance for dinner or late night lounging. For brunch I enjoyed a Machaca Scramble which came with tortillas. I highly recommend it! Very delicious and the perfect serving size. It had all the flavors I wanted in a brunch item. For drinks I tried the Mexican 69 which has been the best twist on a "mimosa" I've ever had! The Adios Felicia is very good as well and spicy if you like a kick to your drink. The service was fantastic. The woman at the entrance did make it sound like reservations are a good idea, which I would assume so myself being that this place is pretty popular. I happened to go when they opened for brunch so there was not a lot of people. Can't wait to come back!

We arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon. The doorman (Will) asked if we had reservations. When we replied "no", he hesitated then said, okay, it’s open seating at the bar. We walk in and the place has maybe 12 other patrons. We are world travelers and have been to some of the most exclusive establishments in the world. We were certainly put off by Will. However, the hostess inside and our server, Jordan, were great. Will almost made us turn away, but the hostess, our server, and the food made us glad we stayed. The drinks and food were very good. We loved the guacamole! I understand you want to play the part of a "hard to get in to establishment", but you may want to try that at 8:00 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m.

Love this place. Nice ambiance/ music and great cocktails. Food is delicious (try ceviche, steak..) a variety of eclectic Mexican dishes and tapas.

Brunch was outstanding! Ordered the avocado toast and chicken and waffles. I usually don’t like chicken and waffles, but these were amazing. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the spicy sauce was the perfect amount. No grease whatsoever! Avocado toast was really good as well, but I definitely ate quite a bit of my husband’s chicken and waffles. It surprised me how much I loved it. Decor is really unique and interesting-lots of skulls, it’s neat. Service was super fast, too. Didn’t have to wait for our food or the check. Not busy on a Sunday surprisingly, because it was amazing. They also had a DJ which was cool. Can’t wait to go here again.

Food was amazing! Drinks were strong and tasty. It was loud in there so definitely not a date night restaurant if you want something intimate. This would be a great place for a birthday celebration. Staff was so friendly and even gave my partner and me a complimentary dessert because it was our anniversary!

Worst customer service and hospitality. Do not know how to treat guest. Showed up an hour and thirty before closing yet still refused to let me and my friends dine in. Did not want to make a big deal so I left but working in the industry I know for a fact that is not how you treat guest with proper hospitality. this has happened 3 times in the past month which speaks volumes.

Love it here . The vibe is amazing. Music drinks dinner dim lighting. Great place to Celebrate any occasion.

The food, ambiance, drinks.... everything about this place was AMAZING!! The desert is to die for

I’ve been coming here for years, but recently the quality of service and food have gone downhill while their prices have gone up. They have changed the menu and everything we ordered was just bland and tasteless. Paying $20 per cocktail I expect a good tasting one with decent amount of alcohol not some watered down bs. On top of that they have added some mysterious “HEALTH TAX” on the bill of an additional 4%. Never seen this in any other restaurant. Will not be returning anytime soon.

Good ambiance not to busy the night we went in. The drinks were fabulous. Both their classic and signature cocktails were great. And although it is a bit of a trendy spot the hospitality and service was on point. Must go see Matt at the bar, he was the best. We be going back and mostly because of him. Thank you for your great hospitality. Date night was a MAJOR success. Only reason I didn't do 5 stars is because it is a trendy spot, it does attract some pretty douchy guys. Security was on point though.

Loved the decor and ambience. Hats off to the designer. The food was magnificent! Plantain chips and guacamole! Who would've thunk it? And their vegan Cesar's salad! To die for! Had their salmon, which was perfectly cooked. And churro ice cream sandwiches! My only gripe is that they rip you off for large groups because they require a prix fixe menu with shared dishes and charge a ridiculous amount for each head and give you the tiniest amount of food. We all left hungry. The price doesn't include any drinks either. Food was great but I only got a few bites of everything.

Toca Madera is the best place to have a birthday! I had a birthday party here on a Saturday for a party of 13+ and we had the best treatment. The staff was so kind , very accomodating , and honestly very happy, like they were not forced to be nice. This was the only restaurant in Los Angeles / West Hollywood location that did not charge me a crazy obscene amount of money for a reservation , and the gave us complimentary 1 glass of champagne, very sweet. Please go here if you want to have a great birthday (day) party, it is sooo worth it.

Nice place, a bit on the pricey side for some dishes and drinks but that’s to be expected. Had a good time here but docking one star because of the staff was a tad over zealous with regard to clearing the table. Had to stop them from taking my food a couple of times throughout the evening. So I couldn’t really tell if they were just being very attentive or were trying to hurry us out to clear the section or turnover the table . Either way, if that was taken down a notch the experience would have been perfect.

Amazing restaurant! They have an specific vegetarian menu with a lot of options, it was really hard to choose one lol Also the drinks that they prepare are very unique. I loved this restaurant and I’ll definitely come back.

New Year's Eve. Some will say this is not the best night to go out. Well, we did. Got to TM around 9:30, and we were seated around 10. Well, understandable. We started with cocktails that were well balanced. Fire show and a woman with a snake. What a cool place. The problem was the food. It wasn't good. We ordered salad and fish tacos. We all agreed it was a serious miss. The dessert was ok. At least that. Price: better than expected. And it was New Year's Eve. Overall: cool place, good vibe, and food that better get better...

Amazing atmosphere! Great cocktails and food menu. We ordered the steak fajitas with extra shrimp which I highly recommend. Our servers Christina was phenomenal and service was excellent.

Menu is big enough for you to find something you like. Bartenders are always so nice and they do try to serve you fast even in the weekends. It get packed early on the weekend so make sure to make reservations. If not you'll probably won't be able to get a seat by the bar. They have a DJ but to he honest their brunch time is my favorite. The fried chicken and coconut porridge. From the tacos my fav is fried fish tacos !

My review base on the design and food. The only reason give this place three STAR instead of one it’s because of the design that’s the nicest design bar in Los Angeles. The food is not tasty at all..... we so many good from the Manu and none was tasty.

I don't know what the secret of this place is, but every time I come here (regularly for the last 3 years ) it is always packed with people, especially the bar section. The cocktails are amazingly good. If you like tequila, this is the best place in the area, but they make good cocktails with other spirits too.

Upon walking to entry I was poorly greeted by the bald angry woman that glared down at my very well behaved and well dressed daughter. At 7:30pm she asked if we planned on drinking and she pointed at my daughter. I responded I was hoping to sit and have dinner. She then pointed me to 2 guys that work for an outside company that manages the reservation. They told me it’s a $15 min per person paid upfront, which I said is fine. They started taking my info and then changed to $60 per person, which I said no way. Very rude, to well dressed visitors looking to enjoy a nice meal. I’m sure the food would have been as disgusting as the service. Now I’m at Mercado’s a half mile away eating amazing food with great service!

The vegan choices are a nice touch! My friends and I had so much fun hanging out here and the food was amazing!

Awesome meal tonight. First visit and we can't wait to return when our son visits from college. Food was fantastic and service at the bar was perfect. Really super experience.
